If you read Mark Minervini’s terrific books you will learn about his volatility contraction set-up. I think NSSC is a good example. Note the high volume break-out on Thursday, after price and volume had contracted over the past month. Before reading Mark’s books (listed on this blog page) this is the type of stock I would have tired of and sold, while it was actually setting up for an explosive move! Note that the stock is above its GLB and the several green dot signals while it was setting up.
