$CME rises out of base; expensive ETFs also give the largest dollar gains

I have told you how useful the RWB daily chart is. In looking over promising $100+ stocks I discovered this chart of CME which hit an all-time high on Monday. Notice how clearly one can see its recent base, maybe a cup with handle, and its green line break-out (GLB) at the end of November. CME is in good company, with ICE and CBOE also hitting new highs on Monday.

A reader who saw yesterday’s post asked me to post a similar analysis of the ETFs with the largest gains the past 30 days. Here are the top 20 ETF gainers. Note that 70% (14/20) were trading above $100, 30 days ago, before this rise occurred. The remaining 6 were all above $65. All of these ETFs gained $24 or more over the past 30 days. Trade expensive stocks and ETFs to achieve large dollar gains…
