GMI remains at 6 (of 6). T2108 is still in overbought territory, as is the QQQ daily 10.4.4 stochastics, now at 86. Gold (GLD ETF) still appears to be headed higher. With earnings season almost over, we could enter a period of retracement and consolidation. The key is to wait for a signal rather than to act in advance.
BIDU postponing earnings the same day they were expected to announce is very fishy.
BIDU never originally set official dates for their earnings reports, but also Chinese New Year fell on Jan 23rd this year. The last time Chinese New Year happened to fall in January (2009) BIDU reported earnings in February. Imagine trying to report earnings during the week of December 25 in the states. It just won’t happen.
