Short and longer term trends remain up. TC2000 sent me an alert of a green line break-out for EEFT. It had above average volume on Monday. Check out this daily chart.

My guess is CMG because of the volume break out and cup with handle pattern.

I’m seeing CMG ATH at 442.40. Thought your green lines were ATH lines. Please clarify.

I took CMG down. I draw the green line on a monthly chart, sometimes near its highest monthly close which may be below the highest price it traded at during the month if it did not hold.

In the past, I think you would take trades other than ATH breakouts. For eg, pullbacks to a certain moving average in a confirmed stage 2 move. These days have you migrated completely to ATH breakouts only? Thanks

You are correct. There are two main strategies I follow. One is to buy stocks in a solid up-trend that have consolidated and break to a new all-time high. The other is to buy similar stocks when they have declined a little and are oversold and turning up. I am finding more success following the former strategy, buying green line break-outs to new all-time highs.

Dear Dr. Wish,
Could you please provide me with a couple of you trade recommendations and how to explain it to a broker so I can execute it.
I’m new at this. I would love if you could give me some potential profit results. I know not every trade is a success.
Respectfully,
Bruce Rynearson. My brother and I are fans of you.

I do not recommend stocks. I only share what I am interested in at any time for educational purposes. You must develop your own systematic rules for trading. Read the books listed to the right of my blog and teach yourself. Good luck!
