Blog post: 16th day of $QQQ short term up-trend; GMI remains 6 (of 6) and Green; 19 stocks from Wish-Darvas scan

GMI6/6
GMI-26/9
T210856%

These stocks came up in my Wish-Darvas scan as of Friday’s close. See prior posts for scan criteria. I have not looked at all but post for your own analysis. Sorted by expected earnings date. They are technically strong stocks near yearly highs that have bounced from over-sold conditions. If bounce fails, I sell immediately.

  1. Thank you for posting these. I have been a big fan of yours for about a decade! I went through these and will share my thoughts. I have a different system than yours for entering and exiting positions so you and your readers may disagree on the analysis.

I think quite a few of these may trigger buy signals for me this week.

A few simple rules I follow are:
    • When the price takes out the previous day’s high, you wait.
    • Do not buy against an upper Bollinger Band
    • Only buy above the 18-day moving average.

MKSI: Uptrend needs to clear the 18-day moving average
    COF: Overbought, needs to pullback
ENTG: Needs a few days to confirm uptrend and clear the 18-day moving average
UCTT: Uptrend needs to clear the 18-day moving average
MYRG: Took out previous day’s high, wait
    RJF: Overbought, needs to pullback
    MHO: Overbought, needs to pullback
CCS: Took out last day’s high, wait
    LPLA: Overbought, needs to pullback
PH: Took out previous day’s high, wait
ONTO: Took out previous day’s high, wait
ON: Took out previous day’s high, wait
ARCB: Took out previous day’s high, wait
ZBRA: Took out previous day’s high, wait
VUZI: Uptrend needs to clear the 18-day moving average
WSM: Uptrend needs to clear the 18-day moving average
LEN: Uptrend needs to clear the 18-day moving average
    SCHW: Overbought, needs to pullback
