My short term trend indicators barely held up on Wednesday.   I am largely in cash in my trading accounts. This has been an extremely tough market for me to trade. I need a nice, well defined longer term up-trend!

  1. If you were to look back over the entire course of all of your investing, would you think that you have been more profitable with stocks or ETFs or about equal?

  2. Well, I am pulling for you to keep on going for many more years! Your blog is one of the rare gems out there, it actually has clarity and uses logic.

  3. It’s a hard market to trade because market action has been dominated by currency values as corrupt governments and voters devalue currency and market participants try to protect what wealth they have left. It looks as if UUP is about the break to the upside, which I think is why equities are selling off. Stocks related to commodities are even more volatile as futures use leverage and influence those prices.

  4. How can we make money off the issues you describe?

Since we have no control over what is happening around us, that is the only important question.
